What's yet to come

Welcome to Novus Actus Writing! A blog created to share the development of my upcoming novel, my poetry as well as delve into articles regarding current affairs, human rights and all that's wrong with the world. Stay for a while and tolerate what could or might not be a disaster; maybe you'll just become my biggest fan. 

For all those interested in what is to come from the fictional side of my writing, my debut novel focuses on the story of two young women brought together by literature who take to each other by chance while they both escape the events of their lives; a tale that showcases the art of escapisim through physical journey and mental turmoil. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and an avid reader, I have seen countless fiction works attempt to capture the intimacy and delicacy of same sex relationships that tend not to delve into the background and the emotions evoked in a character so it is with great determination that I provide attempt to produce a work that does. Hopefully you'll find pieces of yourself within the characters and take away with you parts of them. 

And it is with that, I leave you my 2021 resolution: bring life to the characters you created (publish the book!)
